About Me
I have enjoyed the pleasure of growing up on the prairies. Where else can you find wide open spaces, endless wheat fields and beautiful sunsets?
I was born in Scotland and immigrated to Canada at seven years old with my family. I grew up on the family dairy farm near Forrest, then spent a year in Prince Edward Island where my family moved in 1996, before returning to the Brandon area by myself and settling near Rapid City.
Much of my life has been spent riding and showing hunter/jumper horses and ponies. Once an Equine Canada judge, I am now giving back as a volunteer for the Canadian Pony Club and Little Saskatchewan River Pony Club recently formed by myself and two neighbours.
After completing the Rural Development and Applied Counselling programs at Assiniboine Community College, I was employed as the Outreach & Marketing Coordinator for a private treatment centre for 12 years. In 2010 I joined Sutton-Harrison Realty and have juggled a busy career as an award winning REALTOR® Ever Since.
My days are filled with helping my clients with their real estate investments, viewing homes, reviewing home inspections, negotiating contracts, putting up sold signs or handing over keys to new homeowners. As a primarily rural REALTOR®, I’m often on the road traveling to different towns, acreages and farms.
At the end of the day I come home to my supportive husband Mike and our beautiful daughters Laney and Libby on our own piece of prairie paradise where our girls are sharing my love for horses.
