About Me
My roots run deep in the Shuswap.
Google Earth is amazing, and you feel like you can know a place quickly… But nothing beats having footprints in all the corners! I’ve hiked Mt. Ida, waterskied on Shuswap Lake, hopped on my bike and cruised to Fletcher Park and driven every street and back road. I went to school and graduated here, had my first job at the Shuswap Bakery, and watched many a movie at the Salmar Theater. I even remember going through the old McDonalds (now our RE/MAX Office). The changes our area has undergone are countless. Such changes include: my elementary school, North Broadview Elementary, is now situated at the Historical R.J.Haney Heritage Park; Shuswap Bakery is now an engineering company and the Salmar Theater is now one of two theatres in town and is called the Salmar Classic.
What has never changed is the beauty, charm, and friendliness of this community. It is the community I love, grew up in and have had the privilege of raising my two sons in. What makes the Shuswap important to me? Family, having a peaceful space to live, helping others, enjoying what I do, maintaining a balance of work and leisure, enjoying nature, and being around those I love. Living here makes all of this possible.
